Ice Cream Cupcake Cones

Ingredients

Funfetti Cake

1 ½ cups flour

½ teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

¼ cup milk

½ cup sour cream

½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature

¾ cup sugar

2 large eggs

½ teaspoon vanilla

¼ cup sprinkles

Frosting

1 cup butter, room temperature

1 pound powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

Dash milk

Maraschino cherries

Whip Cream

Sprinkles

Chocolate discs for melting

Directions

Cake

1Dries: Combine dries, flour, baking soda, salt, and sprinkles. Set aside.

2Liquids: Next, combine liquids together, milk and sour cream. Set aside.

3Mixer: Whip butter in mixer with paddle attachment. Then add sugar and continue mixing (4 minutes) until light and fluffy. Next, add eggs and vanilla.

4Next, add dries and liquids alternatively into mixer until all of it is incorporated.

5Scoop batter into cones until halfway full.

6Bake at 350 until cake tester toothpick comes out clean. Cool.

Frosting & Decorating

1Whip butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk. Set aside. Melt chocolate discs.

2Scoop on frosting. Drizzle chocolate. Once cooled, add whipped cream (only if you are serving immediately, otherwise skip this step). Then sprinkles and last add a cherry on top.
